Datamax/O'Neil

Datamax O’Neil is the world leader in industrial printers. When they planned for a new, rugged portable printer, they asked Compass to help design a fresh, contemporary image for it. Based on feedback from their customers and input from the marketing team, we created a design that visually emphasized the large paper roll while keeping the rest of the product slim to fit on the user’s belt. The rubberized outer cladding not only protects the product from shock and drops; it highlights the product’s rugged nature.
