As imaging technology evolves and a greater use of video in teaching surgical procedures is required, a boom-mounted reference video camera has become essential in today’s integrated operating room. 

The ND-CAM is an innovative overhead camera system that can capture wide angle or highly detailed video of a procedure. ND-CAM provides exterior images of surgical procedures that can be transmitted in real-time either to an adjoining conference room or anywhere in the world. The ability for surgical residents and trainees to see where the incisions are made, how instruments are inserted, and the surgeons’ hand movements is essential to their training.

The product system consists of the overhead camera that is mounted to the ceiling track system and a control console that controls the cameras movement, focus and zoom features.
